2736 Bartlett

2736 Bartlett St in Oakland was a special transaction for us. Paul helped Kristen and Dan purchase this home in 2018. In fact, I vividly remember that we were on vacation in Hawaii when Paul was fiercely negotiating with the listing agent to get Kristen and Dan into contract over the holidays 😅 (#realtorlife). We had just finished remodeling our first home at the time, so we had some wisdom to impart as Kristen and Dan decided to DIY their way through a full interior and exterior renovation.

Over the course of 3.5 years, they touched every single square inch of the property. There were long weekends and evenings, and large chunks of time without the basic amenities that many of us are used to having (like, a toilet…a shower…a stove😅). When they decided it was time to sell, they contacted us to consult on the finishing touches that would make their home shine. We gave them a detailed list of ways to step up their curb appeal (hellloooo pink door!) and finish off lingering items to make their home look as polished as possible prior to marketing it for sale.
