Born and raised in Seattle, Jade grew up in a similar area to the East Bay. Jade had been gravitating toward the real estate industry for some time, since purchasing, designing, and rebuilding her first home with Paul. Shortly after completing the project, with one toddler in tow, Jade fell in love with a home that missed it’s offer date (for buyers out there, this translates into a big opportunity to have leverage as a buyer in the Bay Area). Once they were in contract, Jade applied best practices to staging their own home so they could sell it off market. Within days, they received a generous offer on their home and they were ready to get to work preparing their second home for the arrival of their second son.
Real estate and design was solidified as a true passion for Jade, and she inevitably joined the industry in late 2019 to co-found “Talbot Team.” Jade quickly found herself taking the reins on all aspects of working with sellers and buyers, having had so much experience buying, selling, remodeling, and talking real estate 24/7. Her vibrant personality and unrelenting work-ethic give Talbot Team clients the assurance that Jade and the team always have their eye on the ball.
When working with buyers, Jade aims to make the home buying process as stress-free and fun as possible, while also acknowledging that buying a home is usually the biggest financial decision a person will ever make. Jade’s background in curriculum and instructional design gives her clients a unique edge, as they are fully equipped with the resources (and data!) to navigate each step of the home-buying process. Due to the incredibly competitive nature of the Bay Area real estate market, Jade prides herself in being highly responsive to clients. She sends her buyers off-market and pre-market listings and provides her buyers access to disclosures and information about a home’s offer date and other pertinent information.
Jade is the team’s Lead Listing Specialist. Jade takes point on the preparation and listing of homes for those interested in selling. From the moment you inquire about your home’s value, Jade begins pulling relevant market data and begins calling agents in the area with similar listings to get a pulse on interest level for comparable properties. After conducting an initial walkthrough, Jade will discuss high leverage (and low budget) improvements that will increase the home’s sale price. Jade’s expertise in digital marketing gives our sellers a top notch advantage in the marketplace. She is always finding new and engaging ways to create content that will highlight a home and get it in front of as many buyers as possible.
